  146. Secure Design attempts to make the evaluation products available from
  147. several sources.  We can not always distribute the files to every
  148. location that we would like, however we have had continuing success with

  237. Secure Design's Utilities is a collection of DOS command line utilities that
  238. can be helpful in managing a Novell network.  Many of these utilities have
  239. been created as a result of discussions on the Internet about Novell.
  240. Results from the programs are returned in DOS errorlevels for ease in
  241. creating batch files.  (Several examples are included.)  The following is
  242. a list of some of the utilities.

  268. SuperFix is a Netware Loadable Module (NLM) that will change the supervisor 
  269. password on a Netware Server.  The main purpose of this tool is to allow 
  270. access to a server after the supervisor password has been lost or the 
  271. account has been locked out (by node control or disabling the login)
  272.  
  273. SuperFix will allow the change of the supervisor password, remove any login 
  274. node restrictions, and reset the account login defaults for the SUPERVISOR 
  275. account.  As the supervisor account password is changed, each user on the 
  276. server is notified of the action taken.  SuperFix will not create a new 
  277. supervisor account, nor will it correct problems with the bindery database.

  280. are not supported.

  296. Password Inspector is a utility designed to assist network administrators in 
  297. keeping user accounts secure.  When run by a Supervisor or equivalent, 
  298. Password Inspector will test user passwords with a large dictionary of 
  299. common words to see if the password can be found.  If a password is found, 
  300. the Supervisor will have the option of expiring the password, changing the 
  301. password, or disabling the account.

  303. Password Inspector can also generate composite passwords by combining words 
  304. in its' dictionary.  The dictionary provided with Password Inspector 
  305. contains thousands of words, however with the composite password option, 
  306. several million words can easily be generated.

  308. Password Inspector must be run by a supervisor or equivalent on a file 
  309. server.  A user without supervisor access can not use this software.

  342. AutoLaser is an INIT utility for Macintosh Computers.  The INIT will
  343. search the local network for LaserWriters, and select one at random.
  344. The user will be notified as to which printer they will be using.

  347.      the printer load on the network printers.  If you shut a printer
  348.      off, it will not be selected on start-up when a computer is rebooted.

  377. Bootp Namer is an application to assist in the upkeep of large
  378. appletalk networks.  Bootp Namer will first obtain an IP address,
  379. and a DNS name for a workstation. Next, it will rename the computer,
  380. and update the login name in the AppleShare Prep file.   This application
  381. is especially useful in large student computer labs where many
  382. workstations have similar configurations. A computer administrator
  383. can set up a generic system folder on a server. Bootp Namer will
  384. personalize the generic system folder when run on a workstation.
